Sahara Camel trek 6 days & 3 days tour is not only an activity is a part of a tradition and culture of nomads and the majority of Berber who have used camels as a transport for centuries.
Day 1: Marrakech – Tizi n tichka – Kasbah has ben Hadou – the valley of Dades
After picking you up at your accommodation in Marrakech, we will head to the tizi-n-Tichka in the high Atlas Mountains, through the Berber villages. On the way, we will have the chance to visit Kasbah ait Ben Haddou, which is a fortified village of the 17th century. The journey will then continue through the Dades Valley, and El Kalaa M’gouna which is also known as the City of Roses. night in the dades valley
Day 2: Dades – todgha gorges – Alnif – zagora – foum laachar
After enjoying breakfast in the hotel, we will be travelling to Zagora in the direction of todgha Gorge, passing through Alnif which is a desert village. If time allows, we will have picnic lunch in the desert. In the afternoon, we will reach Tamagrot, the fortified village, where we will visit the Koranic Library and also local families that make pottery. After the visit, we will bring you to the camp in Foum Laacha where you will spend your first night in the desert from where you will start your Sahara Camel trek 6 days & 3 days tour. Day 3: Foum Laachar – Wadi Lamhaser
The caravan will pick you up at the camp to where the trek starts in Foum Laachar. The trek will continue to the south, and during the trek, you will see palm trees, by crossing the mountains … In the mid- day, we will have a lunch break under the shade for a few hours. After the rest, we will continue the trek for a few more hours. Night in a wild camp in Oued Lamhaser.
Day 4: Oued Lamhaser – Erg Laabidlya (Chegaga desert)
On this day, we will discover the desert of Chegaga where the largest sand dunes of Morocco are located. Along the Sahara Camel trek 6 days & 3 days tour , you can admire the beauty of desert landscapes. At the end of the trek, we will reach Dayat Chegaga. It is a place with massive dunes, and
greenery and flowers can be found after the rainy seasons. We will stay in a wild nomad camp at the foot of the Chegaga dunes for the night.
Day 5: Erg Laabidlya (Erg Chegaga)
In the heart of the desert, the sand dunes of Chegaga extends to infinity. You may continue to trek or ride on the back of the camels and discover the majestic sand dunes and landscape of Chegaga. Overnight at the wild camp in Laatache Oued.
Day 6: Ouat Laatache – El Jam
Trek in the day through sand and small stones and the our hike will take you to El Jam. We will spend the night at the wild camp with magnificent views of El Bour.
Day 7: El Jam – Bertam – MHamid – Zagora our Agdz
After leaving El Bour, you will continue to walk through an Hamada. Hamada is a special type of natural desert landscape with rocky plateau covered with stones. In the late afternoon, you will be back to Oued Ben Hakki, Mhamid. Day 8: Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
In the morning, we cross the Draa Valley a samll raod bring us to agdez, vivte Kasabh Tamnougalt and we drive to reach Anti Atlas and Ouarzazate. visite the studio of cenima and the vzw of kasbah taourirt. night in a hotel in Ouarzazate.
day 9: Ouarzazate – Ouinal valley – Tilouat- Marrakech
In the morning we continue to the Ounila valley and kasbahs of the glauie in Telouate. We will arrive Marrakech in the afternoon. end of the Sahara Camel trek 6 days & 3 days tour.
