Day 01: Fez – Ifran – Midelt Berber culture and Sahara desert tour from Fez to Marrakech in 7 days

We start the Berber culture and Sahara desert tour from Fez to Marrakech in 7 days. direction the “Moroccan Switzerland”: Irfan and pass through the largest forests in the Middle Atlas, passing through a road that takes us to the fields of apple trees and villages in the mountains, then arrive in Midelt in the afternoon. Night at the hotel.

Day 02: Midelt – Rissani – Merzouga

After breakfast, departure to Merzouga through “Ziz Gorges”, a canyon with oasis. A short visit to the ancient capital of Tafilalet: Sijilmassa (Rissani). After Rissani we continue to Merzouga, these are some of the largest dunes in Morocco, after Chegaga dunes in Morocco south-east, surrounded by the reddish sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Then a camel ride across the dunes . Enjoy the peace and space of the fantastic dunes and the romantic sunset. Dinner and overnight in a typical desert camp. (Night in a nomad tent).

Day 03: Merzouga – The gorges of todra – The valley of dades

After sunrise in the dunes, return to the hotel. After an unforgettable night in the desert, then on the way to Tinghir via Erfoud at 20 KM,  the city of marble. Direction Tinejdad, arrived at the Todgha Gorges (300 m high), for a walk. road to the Dades Valley. night at the hotel.

Day 04: The valley of dades – the gorges of todgha – Tizi-n-tazazert – Nqob – Alnif – Tafraoute

In the morning we drive towards Alnif. Passing the anti Atlas mountains by tizi-n-tazazert pass, in the afternoon we continue  to Tafraoute in an off road that brings us to a wild desert. Enjoy the desert landscape. Possibly to cook traditional couscous with a Berber family in the village, to have a cultural exchange. night at the hotel.

Day 05: Tafraoute – Trail in the desert – Zagora

After breakfast, departure to Zagora, we arrived in the afternoon. Visit the ksar of Amezrou. Amezrou is well worth a little detour. This traditional fortified village dates from the 18th century and is very well preserved. Moreover, it is still inhabited and can be visited very easily. You just have to enter through one of the gates of two main bastions: north and south of the village. During your visit, enter the small synagogue in Amezrou, a witness to the days when the ksar was inhabited by a large Jewish community. You are also interested in working with silver, the specialty of the ksar. Jewelry is indeed the traditional craft of the ksar. The silver is melted in earthen molds, then the jewels are worked by hand by local artisans who decorate them with Berber motifs, sometimes with African motifs. After the visit, a one hour walk in the palm grove of the Draa Valley, one of the large valleys in Morocco. Night at the hotel.

Day 06: Zagora – Agdz – Ouarzazate

In the morning, departure for Ouarzazate. A road between the palm grove and the mountain towards Agdz. towards Ouarzazate via the oasis of tizgui. an oasis in the middle atlas mountains. lunch at a local restaurant on the road. afternoon by joining Ouarzazate the Hollywood of Morocco. Photo stop in front of the Taourirt kasbah, possibility to visit the film studio. Overnight at hotel

Day 07: Ouarzazate – Á’ît Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

Departure to Áît Ben Haddou Following your trip to the south, arriving at the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village from the 17th century, visit the Kasbah apies. Through the Berber villages, by the old road to Telouet, we visit the kasbah of El Glaoui. Returning to Marrakech in the afternoon.
