From there, continue through the Draa Valley, home to one of Morocco’s longest rivers and countless palm groves, until you reach the golden dunes of Zagora.
Once in Zagora, you’ll enjoy a camel trek at sunset, leading you to a traditional Berber camp nestled in the heart of the desert. Spend the evening under a sky full of stars, savoring a delicious Moroccan dinner and the rhythm of local music around the campfire. The overnight stay in a desert tent provides a unique opportunity to experience authentic nomadic culture. On the second day, after a peaceful sunrise and breakfast in the camp, you’ll ride camels back and begin your return to Marrakech, with more scenic stops along the way. We leave Marrakech at the scheduled time, begin your adventure to discover the south of Morocco for its circuit to the desert of Zagora with a 4X4. small Berber villages of the High Atlas crosses the Tizi n’Tichka, is one of the highest in Morocco 2260m altitude and reach the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, visit the kasbah, a village heritage of humanity by UNESCO. After lunch we continue our journey south of Morocco to Zagora through the anti atlas, and we reach the Berber village of Agdez where the Draa Valley begins and will see the palm trees. We arrived at Zagora, change 4×4 by camels in a ride calem trip, where we see the sunset from the small dunes and spend an amazing night at the bivouac under the Berber nomad tent.
Wake up early to witness the peaceful desert sunrise, followed by a traditional Berber breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, enjoy a camel ride back to the village where your driver will be waiting. Begin your journey back to Marrakech, passing once again through the scenic Draa Valley with its lush palm groves and adobe villages.
Stop in Agdz and Ouarzazate for breaks and photos, and possibly visit the Taourirt Kasbah if time allows. Continue your drive through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, taking in the panoramic mountain views. Arrive back in Marrakech in the late afternoon or early evening, marking the end of your desert adventure.
