Day 01 :

Marrakech – Telouet – Ouarzazate

After breakfast, depart from your hotel, riad, or airport towards the Tizi-n-Tichka pass in the High Atlas, crossing Berber villages. Visit the Kasbah of El Glaoui on the old Telouet route. Continue south to the 17th-century fortified village of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Then head to “Morocco’s Hollywood,” Ouarzazate, known for movies like Gladiator. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 02 :

Ouarzazate – Agdez – Drâa Valley – Zagora

Morning visit to the cinema studios and Kasbah Taourirt. The day is dedicated to discovering the green Anti-Atlas landscapes and the Drâa Valley. Depart Ouarzazate crossing the Anti-Atlas, photo stop at Ait Saoune, continue to Agdez where the Drâa Valley begins. Take the track to Kasbah Tamnougalte, lunch at a local restaurant. Continue along the Drâa Valley’s path, passing villages, palm groves, and kasbahs before reaching Zagora. Dinner and overnight at Zagora.

Day 03 :

Tafraout – Sidi Ali

After breakfast, depart towards Tafraout via a track through virgin desert. Lunch with a Berber family and overnight in a guesthouse. Visit small Berber villages and oases on the way. Enjoy the desert landscape and the local Gnawa music (Khamlya Gnawa). Dinner and overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 04 :

Tafraout – Ramlia – Merzouga

Morning departure to Merzouga passing through Ramlia, a small desert village, discovering the desert region and its isolated oases. Arrive at the Merzouga Desert, home to some of Morocco’s largest dunes after Chegaga. Camel trek to watch the sunset among the dunes. Night in a desert bivouac.

Day 05 :

Merzouga – Tinghir

After sunrise, return to the hotel for breakfast. Then head towards Tinghir via Rissani, birthplace of the Alaouite dynasty, visiting Rissani’s souk. Erfoud, known as the marble city, is 20 km away. Continue to Tinejdad and arrive at Todra Gorges. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 06 :

Tinghir – Boumalne Dadès – Skoura – Ouarzazate

Morning visit to Todra Gorges and its valley with kasbahs. Then travel to the Dadès Valley and the Valley of Roses, continuing towards the Thousand Kasbahs and the Skoura oasis, visiting Kasbah Amridil and its oasis. Arrive in Ouarzazate. Dinner and overnight at hotel.

Day 07 :

Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast, take a different route back over the High Atlas than on Day 1, passing Berber villages and mountains. Return to Marrakech to conclude the journey. Transfer to hotel, riad, or airport.
